Alex Cordovil joined Dell’Oro Group in 2025 and is responsible for coverage of the Data Center Physical Infrastructure and Data Center Liquid Cooling markets.

Prior to joining Dell’Oro Group, Mr. Cordovil spent over five years at Vertiv, a leading global provider of data center infrastructure solutions, including critical power, cooling, IT management, and services. As Program Director at Vertiv, he led a global route-to-market transformation program aimed at unlocking growth in indirect channels, a role which provided unique insight into market dynamics across all product lines of the Data Center Physical Infrastructure market. More recently, he played an important role in developing Vertiv’s thought leadership in artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on the data center industry. His responsibilities included end-to-end ownership of high-impact initiatives such as strategic planning, aligning commercial and IT functions, redesigning the partner ecosystem, and deploying advanced business intelligence tools for performance management.

Before Vertiv, Mr. Cordovil accumulated over a decade of experience in consulting at Bain & Company, boutique consultancies, and independently. In these roles, he addressed a wide range of strategic and operational challenges—from revamping the retail strategy of a leading British bookmaker, navigating regulatory disruption, to designing toolkits that identified and resolved operational bottlenecks for a major leisure group. These experiences honed his ability to distill complex business challenges, align senior stakeholders, and lead fast-paced, cross-functional transformations.

Mr. Cordovil holds a distinguished academic background. He earned a B.S. in Engineering from École Centrale Paris, where he was awarded the prestigious Bourse d’Excellence Eiffel. He also held a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of São Paulo, ranking among the top five students in the Fuvest entrance exam (with over 100,000 applicants). Additionally, he obtained a Master’s degree in Modern and Contemporary Art and Art World Practice with distinction from Christie’s Education.

He is fluent in English, French, and Portuguese.
